The John J. Brunetti Human Trafficking Academy at St. Thomas University College of Law is proud to join forces with the foundations and all our local community partners cooperating in the event: "For Sale: Human Trafficking Awareness Event," hosted by Declare No More and Safe Families for Children.
This free awareness event will feature real stories, experts, and local organizations working to fight human trafficking. Attendees will learn how to recognize the issue and discover practical ways to get involved locally. Join us to learn more about the realities of human trafficking and explore ways you can help prevent victimization, identify vulnerability, save a survivor, and restore their human dignity.
This gathering will bring together organizations and people who are concerned about human trafficking and committed to the well-being of survivors and at-risk children in our community.
Designed for ages 14+, the event may not be suitable for younger children. We encourage parents to attend with their teens, as the topics may inspire thoughtful conversations about online safety and awareness.
