Details: According to the International Labor Organization (ILO), there are currently 4.5 million sex slaves around the world. According to the Polaris Project, Florida ranked 3rd in the country in 2016 with 1,900 reported cases. Human trafficking, including sex trafficking and forced labor, is one of the fastest growing industries. This has to stop. This is the goal of the "Fight for Freedom" awareness event. This event focuses on sex slavery but will bring awareness to human trafficking as a whole. 

Join us for an afternoon of awareness about the human trafficking going on in our own backyard and around the world. Since this is in the middle of the day, bring a signature family snack to share! There will also be items for sale at a silent art auction. 100% of the proceeds of this event will be given to 4 organizations on the front lines of ending sex trafficking. Tampa Bay Advocates Against Human Trafficking, Selah Freedom, Be the Light, Inc, and Rescue:Freedom International.
